¨ We are now accepting applications for the 

summer program.

¨ All members must register for the new year. Applications can be picked up at the Just Do It Now office located at 1619 MLK Blvd in Wharton Monday –Friday 9 am-noon and 1pm-5:30pm until summer begins.

¨ LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE. ALL CURRENT MEMBERS SPOTS WILL BE HELD UNTIL JUNE 7TH AND WE WILL BE ABLE TO ACCEPT UP TO 60 ADDITIONAL MEMBERS. JDIN HAS THE RIGHT TO REPLACE A MEMBER’S SPOT IF HE/SHE HAS NOT ATTENDED IN MORE THAN 5 DAYS WITHOUT A PRIOR NOTIFICATION THAT MEMBER WILL BE OUT. (We understand they may go on vacation or have a medical reason so please just let us know they will not be attending that week and we will gladly hold your child’s spot.)

¨ FREE Van transportation home will be provided Monday-Thursday during the summer and vans will begin leaving at 4:30pm daily for those who need transportation home. 

ALL MEMBERS MUST BE PICKED UP BY 5 PM ON FRIDAYS, PLEASE.

¨ Permission slips will be required to attend field trips and participate in some programs/activities

¨ Every Friday will be Friday Fun Day! We will either have extra special activities at the center or at a Wharton park, or we will go out of town on a field trip!

¨ All field trips will have a $5 fee for participation. Members must attend an average of 3 days per week each week to qualify to attend the field trip. Daily behavior will be monitored as well. Since field trips are considered a reward, not being able to attend a field trip may also be a consequence to negative behavior. All field trips will require a permission slip to be turned in no later than the Thursday before the field trip. 

¨ Just Do It Now will be closed on field trip dates to take as many members as possible. If your child does not attend the field trip, the center will be closed for members on that date.

¨ Just Do It Now will be closed in observance of July 4th Holiday.

¨ FREE Breakfast, lunch and a snack will be included with our program.

¨ We will be selling daily concessions to allow your child to have an additional snack and to help support our summer program! Members may bring money to purchase snacks/drinks. 

¨ This year, we will have several Family Fun Nights! Please look for these nights and bring your children of all ages to enjoy a free family friendly night! 

(No kids will be allowed to be dropped off.)

¨ At JDIN, we focus on love and respect! We expect it from our staff and work on teaching our youth this “Golden Rule of JDIN”. We strive to provide quality programs, events and field trips that will enhance the lives of our youth, encourage them to make good decisions and live a healthy lifestyle!

¨ Just Do It Now partners with Hesed House, Restoration City, Bee Busy, Women’s Crisis Center, First United Methodist Church, and more to provide quality programs for the youth!
